Blacklace Misha Romper

well, i never....

seems like the bots over at YouTube regard the sight of Blacklace's sexy romper as just too much titillation for the deviant segment of the community. i had recorded a few video clips to cobble together with the desktop software (VSDC). with a few tweaks the resultant output amounted to an outrageously large file i didn't consider worthy of uploading. so, i thought, why don't i just live stream it? let YouTube record it on their system without burdening me with saving a gross unwieldy file.

so, i did just that. 3 minutes on the posestand, twirling about changing HUD textures. all went well, you get to see my new posestand with psychedelic swirling colours. oh, and there's my beautiful avatar wearing the skimpiest of diaphanous material too. who could complain?

well, YouTube is who.

shortly after ending the stream (it was all privately recorded) i get an email saying they've removed it. just like that. apparently, i should know what section of the Community Standards i broke since they never intimated the offense directly, just supplied the link.

i figured it was Sensitive Content: Nudity and sexual content. upon further inspection of the guidelines, depending on the interpretation of the language, i'm going to Hell. holy Jesus, i may be stimulating my audience to overcome their restraints to gratify themselves sexually! good God indeed. is there any hope for the YouTube form of humanity?

how far have we fallen?

it's happened before but only on live streaming so far. it's not like the big boys are pouring over my little portal to discern that the emanation for all pornography everywhere comes from my channel and i must be stopped. but, for some reason or another i guess they're more sensitive to live streams. each one i've done so far has been held back from showing up on my timeline. i guess it's because SL uploads have their fair share of avatar nudity. and i'm their biggest fan!

i really wished i could have kept the response letters i sent them pleading for them to reinstate the vids. whatever i said, they've put all of them back. of course, reading the guidelines closer, i'm treading a fine line. if i don't have context for why i'm showing an avatar's breast, yes, just that; it's against their guidelines for inclusion. sheesh, whatever reason could Victoria's Secret be showing a woman's breast. not a nude breast, just a breast! read it yourself.

Depiction of genitals, breasts, or buttocks (clothed or unclothed) for the purpose of sexual gratification

the red text is the key. i'm no lawyer, but if seeing an avatar's clothed breast is gratifying someone sexually, we're all in a heap of trouble. it's a case of lowest common denominator. if one unknown, unaccountable deviant within the greater community feels as though any content might be stimulation enough to gratify themselves sexually, it's tossed to the bin. it certainly makes my life more difficult explaining context to the actual humans who might be called upon to see whether the AI code has validity. maybe they'll get to know my stuff's not offensive after i send them numerous justifications/excuses. i'm certainly not going to change the sensual nature of my uploads. it's Second Life! duh.
